What is Crossover?
Crossover is an annual evangelistic emphasis that takes place in the city where the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting is held. Many churches in the host city plan an evangelistic outreach the week before the meeting, and many will plan evangelistic events the Saturday before the annual meeting starts and will recognize a Harvest Day the next day.
Reaching Our City
Sunday, June 2: Starting with Prayer
During our 10;30 AM worship service, we will have a special SBC emphasis and prayer time in the auditorium.
Saturday, June 8: Canvassing and Prayer
9:30 AM to 12 Noon we will have an opportunity for canvassing and prayer walking in selected neighborhoods. This event may include volunteers from other churches.
Sunday, June 9: Special Guest Speaker
The President of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Jamie Dew, will be preaching in our worship gathering at 10:30 AM in Northside's auditorium.
Block Party at Northside
Wednesday, June 5: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Free Event
Bring the whole family to Northside on Wednesday, June 5 for a fun time with food, games, face painting and bounce houses. The whole community is welcome!
Single Life in Christ
Join us on June 7 at Northside as we launch a new ministry for single adults, Single Life in Christ. Dr. PJ Dunn with Table for One ministries is the keynote speaker for this night of fellowship, music, dinner and inspiration. Single adults of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. $15/person. This event is in the Christian Life Center. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Childcare available.
